What Big Tech Doesn’t Know: Act I

hwms.coverart

They seem like such nice people.

It’s just too bad that things didn’t quite go as planned.

We have a young attorney advisor.

And a director of public relations .

And an mess they didn’t anticipate.

The How We Manage Stuff audio drama tackles the issue of technology in government.  The leaders of an internet giant, Talking & Shopping, arrive in Washington in an effort to improve their public image and then immediately start taking steps to destroy it.

They have no idea what they are doing.  None at all.

And so they have hired consultants, the boutique group How We Manage Stuff, to help them in their perilous task.  Along the way they meet bureaucrats in love with their own voice, Congressional Aides in with political gossip, and interns in love with the mere image of leadership.

So begins our tale.  The first seven episodes of the Audio Drama “What Big Tech Doesn’t Know.”

A Series on Consulting? As a Podcast?

hwms.coverart   The heart of the matter. Do don’t know what it is until you’ve done it. You don’t understand why it is hard, until you’ve done it internationally. The crack cast of How We Manage Stuff prepares to depart for Germany. At one level, the problem is simple. A small German logistics firm needs some help. It’s a drama of course. But dramas are good at the exposing the heart of the matter. Almost as good as doing it yourself. Cast:
  • Chuck  – Ron Bianchi
  • Debbon Ayer  – Herself
  • Josh LaForce – Himself
  • Ziggy – Skippy

Anna appeals to Elon Musk

errant.coverart Here’s the trouble with real people.  They don’t don’t write, they don’t call, they just aren’t reliable.  Anna the Intern made an appeal  to Elon Musk early in our run. Did she get a reply?  You tell me. Real people! Anna wants to be a player. She hopes to be a technology media mogul. For her next step, she hopes to host the next binge episode, though she has already hosted two, one on December 22 and the next on December 29. To achieve that goal, she has made an appeal to Elon Musk, though this appeal is also an apology for a slight she fears that she may have made. [16115]Facebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

An Audio Drama

We tell you a story.

Isn’t that enough?

No report.  No statistics.

No effort to promote some point of view.  No desire to teach some theory.

We invent a fiction.  We look at characters.   We look at their relationships.  We ask how they make decisions.

All to entertain you for a moment.

All to help you understand the truth.

We’re How We Manage Stuff.  We’re an Audio Drama.  Let us tell you a story.
